KYC and AML Policy

This KYC and AML Policy explains how batbet.com, owned and operated by DEEPSPRING Limitada, applies Know Your Customer, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, fraud prevention, and verification controls.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to verify player identity, prevent underage gambling, detect suspicious activity, prevent fraud, comply with regulatory obligations, and protect the integrity of the website.
2. Information We May Request
We may request one or more of the following:
- Full legal name, date of birth, residential address, nationality, and contact details.
- Government-issued identification, such as passport, national ID, voter ID, or driving license.
- Proof of address, such as a utility bill, bank statement, tax document, or official letter.
- Payment ownership evidence, such as proof that the payment method belongs to the account holder.
- Source of funds or source of wealth information where required by risk assessment.
- Additional information required for sanctions, politically exposed person, fraud, or regulatory checks.
3. Three-Step Verification
Step One
Step one verification must be done by every user and customer during registration/onboarding on batbet.com. Without the completion of this step, no withdraw nor any deposit shall be allowed. Regarding of the choice of payment, the amount of payment, the amount of withdraw, the choice of withdraw and nationality of the user/customer step one verification must be done first. Step one verification is a document that must be filled out by the user/customer himself. Following information's must be filled in:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth (to confirm minimum legal age)
- Nationality
- Country of Usual Residence
- Full Residential Address
- Contact Information (Email and Phone Number)
- Payment Information (E.g. bank account or e-wallet details)
Step Two
Step two verification must be done by every user which deposits over 2000$ (two thousand Dollars) or withdraws over 2000$ (two thousand Dollars), and every user/customer which was classified based on risk assessment as a high-risk user/customer, either due to geographic location, user activity or user type (Politically Exposed Persons or individuals with adverse media mentions). Until step two verification is done, the withdrawal, tip or deposit will be placed on hold. Step two verification will lead the user or customer to a subpage where he must submit a valid government-issued ID (Such as: International Passport, National ID Card, Driver's License). The user/customer must take a picture of his ID. While a paperclip with a six-digit random generated number is next to his ID: Only an official ID may be used for ID verification, depending on the country the variety of accepted IDs may be different. There will also be an electronic check if the filled in Data from the step one verification is correct. The electronic check will check via two different databanks to ensure the given information matches with the filled document and the name from the ID: If the electronic test fails or is not possible the user/customer is required to send in a conformation of his current resident. A certificate of registration by the government or a similar document is required.
Step Three
Step three verification must be done by every user which deposit over 10000$ (ten thousand Dollars) or withdraws over 10000$ (ten thousand Dollars), and every user/customer which was classified based on risk assessment as a high-risk user/customer, either due to geographic location, user activity or user type (Politically Exposed Persons or individuals with adverse media mentions). Until step three verification is done the withdrawal, tip or deposit will be placed on hold. For step three a user/customer will be asked for a source of wealth and source of funds.
4. Document Standards
Documents must be clear, valid, complete, readable, and show all required information. We may reject expired, altered, cropped, blurred, inconsistent, or unverifiable documents. We may request certified, notarized, translated, or additional documents where necessary.
5. AML and Transaction Monitoring
We monitor account activity and transactions to identify unusual or suspicious behavior, including:
- Multiple accounts or use of another person's identity.
- Third-party payments or inconsistent payment ownership.
- Rapid deposits and withdrawals with limited gameplay.
- Unusual transaction size, frequency, or pattern.
- Attempts to avoid verification or transaction limits.
- Chargebacks, reversed payments, or payment disputes.
- Activity linked to prohibited jurisdictions, sanctions, fraud, or other compliance concerns.
6. Source of Funds
We may request source of funds or source of wealth information where account activity, transaction level, payment behavior, or risk profile requires enhanced due diligence. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in account restrictions, delayed withdrawals, account closure, or reporting to the appropriate authority where required.
7. Refusal, Suspension, or Closure
We may refuse registration, suspend an account, delay or refuse a withdrawal, void activity, close an account, or report activity if information is false, incomplete, misleading, inconsistent, suspicious, or not provided within the requested time.
8. Data Handling
Information and documents collected under this policy are used for verification, compliance, fraud prevention, responsible gaming, payment processing, and legal or regulatory obligations. Records may be retained as required by applicable law, regulation, and operational requirements.
